ATTENTION ALL HIGH SCHOOL YOUTH & CURRENT 8TH GRADERS WANTING TO ATTEND MONTREAT YOUTH CONFERENCE:
This serves as your reminder that your deposit is due on Sunday evening at NKPY for MYC ‘10.
Absolutely no late deposits will be accepted.
All youth wanting to attend MYC ‘10 must be active participants in NKPY, and therefore should be at NKPY this coming Sunday evening.
Deposits are $100.00 and are non-refundable.
Spaces are limited this year!

Christmas (tree) time is here…
happiness and cheer…
nkpy are selling north carolina fraser fir christmas trees and door wreaths as our annual fundraiser to assist with retreat and event scholarships.
the trees are cut fresh for our pickup and delivery,

all youth are required to sell at least one christmas tree or wreath this year, so be on the lookout for youth selling trees…and let us know if you have not yet been approached about purchasing a tree.

To dispell any roumours…YES, we are having youth on Sunday night.
(If you are unsure at any time, just check the master schedule on the Calendar page…it won’t lead you astray.)
Now that we’re all squared away that we ARE meeting on Sunday, here are a few reminders:
Sunday is the LAST CHANCE to register for the Middle School Retreat in November. If you want to attend, please bring your $50.00 deposit to NKPY on Sunday night. This is the LAST CHANCE…so don’t miss out!
If you plan to join us for our annual Ski Trip in January, you must turn in your $100.00 deposit on Sunday evening as well. We will NOT TAKE LATE DEPOSITS for the Ski Trip, and we must have a MINIMUM OF 12 YOUTH attending the trip. We will return to Beech Mountain, NC in January over Martin Luther King Weekend for several days of snowy fun. Hope you’ll plan to join us…just don’t forget your deposit on Sunday!
All payments need to be turned in with an envelope and the NKPY deposit slip which is found on the forms page. Please contact us with any questions about the deposit slips.
We will begin our Christmas Tree Sales fundraiser on Sunday evening. Each youth will be given an order form and tasked with selling at least one tree or wreath this year. When you make the sale, please have the buyer write your name on the order form and then turn it in to the address on the order form. We will keep track of your sales, and the sales work toward helping to cut costs on trips and retreats this year. Mason has even mentioned a prize to the youth that sells the most number of trees & wreaths…???
Well, that’s all folks!
So, we’ll just plan to see you on Sunday evening at NKPY.

FIRST NKPY OF 2009-2010!
We’ll gather at the Gillan’s House each time we meet, so come join us for some NKPY fun this year!
Remember, we’re splitting up this year, so here’s when we’ll meet:
Middle School: 4:15-6:00 PM
High School: 5:30-7:30 PM
Dinner will always be included, so you don’t have to worry about eating before you come.

Our annual NKPY parent meeting and pool party will be on Sunday, August 23rd from 4:30 to 6:30 PM at the Moninghoff’s house – 5 Ulverston Way. Directions are below.
Youth:
bring a parent/guardian with you
bring your bathing suit and a towel (remember NKPY appropriate bathing suit rules)
come ready to have a great time and hear about what’s going on in NKPY for this coming year!
Parents:
- one parent needs to be in attendance for all NKPY
- please bring your family calendar to sign up for assisting with hosting youth group this year
- come prepared for lots of paperwork
- you may also bring your bathing suit, but we’ll mostly be inside going over “logistics”
All:
- the Moninghoff’s will be providing some food for us to enjoy at the meeting
- we’ll discuss the calendar, fill out information sheets, talk about changes to the youth group, meet advisors, etc.

From Sandlapper, turn left onto Longtown Rd and follow to 3-way stop (just in front of Club Colony)
Turn right onto Longtown Rd. West
Follow over the lake to the 2nd entrance into Windermere (service entrance)
Turn right into second entrance on Cartgate Way
Once inside the gate, turn left onto Cartgate Circle
Follow around circle to second left which is Ulverston Way
We are the second house on the left in the cul-de-sac
